Weed Delivery Services 101: FAQs

Posted on: 23 May 2019

Getting your hands on your preferred weed used to require you to track down a dealer to sell you your product. However, cannabis has completely changed as a consumer product due to the new laws allowing legal distribution. Now, in some states, you don't even have to go get your own weed—it can be delivered right to your door. If you have just discovered that this awesome service is available in your area, you probably have some things you would like to know. Here are answers to a few of the most common questions about weed delivery

How does weed delivery work?

Weed delivery works a lot like pizza delivery, with a few more steps involved for you to be an eligible delivery recipient. You will have to register your information with the delivering dispensary, which will require you to provide things like your state-issued ID to prove your age, or your medical cannabis card information. Once you have registered with a dispensary, you can simply call them up or log in on their site or app to place an order for what you want. Of course, payments have to be made in advance, and you will likely be limited to certain order quantities depending on where you live and the laws in the state.

How long will it take for your package to arrive?

It will depend on your proximity to the dispensary where you order your weed. Most places will get your order out to you rather quickly, like within an hour or so, much like pizza delivery. Therefore, you will not have to wait a long time to get what you want.

Will the packaging be discreet?

Even though it may be perfectly legal for you to call up a local dispensary and order your cannabis, you may not want all the neighbors to know that is what you are doing. You'll be happy to know that most places that offer cannabis delivery services keep things super discreet. They will not come up to your driveway in a bold manner, and your package will likely be pretty ordinary.

Is weed the only thing you can order?

Most dispensaries offer full delivery of all of their products, not just cannabis. If you want a bottle of CBD, some edibles, an accessory for using your weed, or something else, you can order those things and have them delivered as well.
